My opinion is cannon fodder

Posted by AnonymousFrogClock - July 13th, 2024

Cannon Fodder is quite possibly, in my opinion the most impressive, if not the best war shooter of the 90's. Give it a play on platform of choice. Just don't lose your little army men and you're golden!

Not to mention, the theme song is banger.
WAR HAS NEVER BEEN SO MUCH FUN!

I love that song! What's impressive is that it's in .mod format. No mixing, no mastering. All of its fragmented samples are played back in real time across the total of FOUR channels of the Paula chip!

I LOVE that theme song!

Bonus sidenote: I just discovered that it and its sequel are 75% off at GOG
https://www.gog.com/en/game/cannon_fodder
https://www.gog.com/en/game/cannon_fodder_2

That, or download a ROM of one of its bajillion ports.

You gotta check out the "studio" version of the theme song! It's more less the same as the MOD version but it's made of the original uncompressed stems, so it's more hi-fi.
